Rising Teenage Star Joins the Eagles

Crystal Palace have announced the signing of Michael Olise from Reading, making him the club's first acquisition under new manager Patrick Vieira. The 19-year-old winger has signed a five-year contract at Selhurst Park and arrives on a fee believed to be around £8 million.

Bright Future Ahead

Olise, who represented France at youth level, is a highly-rated prospect who has impressed in the Championship with Reading over the past few seasons. He scored seven goals and provided 12 assists in 44 appearances for the Royals last season, helping them reach the play-off semi-finals.

Vieira is delighted to have secured the services of Olise, saying: "Michael is a very exciting young player who has already shown great potential at Reading. He is a creative and technical winger who can create chances and score goals. I believe he has the quality to be a valuable addition to our squad and I look forward to working with him."
