BMW Motorsport to Return to FIA WEC and 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2024

Ferrari and Vector Sport to Join Hypercar Lineup

BMW M Motorsport has announced its comeback to the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2024. This exciting news comes alongside the confirmation of Ferrari AF Corse's participation with their 499P Hypercar. Additionally, Vector Sport, which had planned to run the Isotta Fraschini Le Mans Hypercar program in 2024 WEC, has withdrawn.

Qualifying Results Released

The list of qualified cars for the 24 Hours of Le Mans has been released, featuring 23 Hypercars, 16 LMP2s, and 23 LMGT3s. Among them, Dries Vanthoor of BMW M Motorsport secured the fastest lap during qualifying, placing BMW at the top of the Hypercar category.
